Alcohol Sales in Moscow Region Pour Houses to be Limited to Two Hours a Day

In the Moscow region, the sale of alcohol in catering establishments located in multi-apartment buildings will be limited to two hours per day. This decision was made by the deputies of the Moscow regional parliament. Alcohol can be purchased in "nalivayki" (small bars) only from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. The restrictions will come into effect on March 1, 2026. Currently, the ban on alcohol sales in cafes, bars, and other catering establishments is in effect from 11 p.m. to 8 a.m.
