Imports of Spanish wine to Russia in September reached the maximum level for the year - 916 tons. However, among the EU countries, Germany increased its imports the most. These are the data of Eurostat analyzed by experts of RIA.

In September, Russia increased its imports of Spanish wine by about 11%, to 916.3 tons. In August, the figure was only 829 tons. The last time such a record was recorded was in October last year - 977 tons.

As for the largest wine suppliers to Russia, in early autumn they were Italy - 5.7 thousand tons, Latvia - 2.4 thousand tons and Poland - 1.7 thousand tons.

Germany increased its supplies of Spanish wine the most - by as much as two times, shipping 1.15 thousand tons of wine. Only Portugal can compete with it - by 17%, to 1.4 thousand tons.
