In October 2025, the average amount of auto loans issued was 1.51 million rubles. Compared to the same period last year, this figure increased by 9.5%, according to data provided by the National Bureau of Credit Histories (NBKI). Compared to the previous month, the average auto loan amount decreased by 0.1%. The regions leading in terms of the volume of auto loans issued are Moscow (2.1 million rubles), Moscow Oblast (1.84 million rubles), St. Petersburg (1.75 million rubles), Leningrad Oblast (1.63 million rubles), and Tyumen Oblast (1.63 million rubles). The regions with the highest growth in the average size of auto loans were Irkutsk Oblast (+21.7% year-on-year), Orenburg Oblast (+15.7%), Krasnoyarsk Krai (+14.4%), Samara Oblast (+14.2%), and Tyumen Oblast (+13.2%). In Moscow and St. Petersburg, the average amount of auto loans issued increased by 9.4% and 5.4%, respectively.
