Russia and Kazakhstan are consistently increasing their trade turnover. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin during the reception of his colleague from Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

According to Putin, the trade turnover between the two countries amounted to $27 billion last year. For the incomplete year of 2025, this figure has already exceeded $20 billion.

“We have good prospects, there are planned projects, they are measured in tens of billions of dollars,” noted the Russian leader.

He pointed out that almost all settlements are made in national currencies.

For his part, Tokayev noted the absence of problems in relations with Moscow, emphasizing that Kazakhstan aims to increase trade turnover with Russia to $30 billion per year.
