Upper House Approves Mentorship Law for Medical Graduates

In brief, the essence of the law is that mandatory mentorship for up to three years is established for graduates who have received medical education under basic professional educational programs in certain specialties and have passed primary specialist accreditation for the first time. Upon completion of mentorship, the graduate must pass specialist accreditation. With the exception of certain provisions, the federal law will come into force on March 1, 2026, except for several provisions.
