Law on Fines for Ignoring Violations during Preparation for Heating Season Comes into Force

A law that toughens responsibility for violations during preparation for the heating season has come into force, the State Duma reported today. Thus, fines for legal entities for ignoring previously identified violations during preparation for the heating period will amount to up to 40 thousand rubles, and for officials - up to 10 thousand rubles. “It is important to bring order to this area, ensure the elimination of violations, and hold those responsible accountable... On our part, we will keep the issue of passing the heating season under control,” State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin added.
