Russian crypto trader Roman Novak and his wife, who permanently reside in Dubai, have vanished without a trace in the UAE. Their whereabouts have been unknown for over a month, according to SHOT.

According to sources, the Novak couple was kidnapped for ransom, and it is not ruled out that both may already be dead. Relatives of the couple have sought help from law enforcement authorities.

Based on the disappearance of the Russians in the UAE, the Russian Investigative Committee has already initiated a criminal case under the article "Murder of two persons." According to the investigation, on October 2, 2025, the couple went to the city of Hatta for a meeting with certain investors. Their personal driver dropped them off at a parking lot by the lake, where they got into another car and drove off in an unknown direction. After that, communication with them was lost.
