Are the prices of new "Chinese" cars in Russia falling? The average price of a new Chinese car in Russia dropped by 17,000 rubles in October compared to September, down to 3.57 million rubles, TASS reports, citing research from "Avto.ru Otsenki". The biggest price reductions affected Chinese crossover models Omoda C7, Geely Coolray, and Tank 700.

Meanwhile, the average price of new Russian cars increased by 3%, reaching 1.7 million rubles. It is noted that out of all domestic cars, only Lada Largus experienced a slight price drop.

In terms of regions, a significant decrease in average car prices of more than 1% was recorded in only five regions: Stavropol Krai (-10%, down to 2.73 million rubles), Tula (-8.6%), Voronezh region (-4.5%). Saratov region saw the highest increase in average prices (+17%).
