First Fines for Electric Cars: Inspectors Prevented Attempts to Cross the Crimean Bridge

In the first day after the official ban was introduced, 18 fines were issued to electric car drivers who attempted to cross the Crimean Bridge, according to the Telegram channel Mash. The cars were traveling in different directions. The fine for violating the established restrictions amounted to 750 rubles for each driver. The basis for applying sanctions was the road sign "Movement of mechanical vehicles prohibited", installed together with a clarifying plate "Type of vehicle" with an electric car pictogram. The signs have already been installed at the entrances to the ferry crossing. A complete ban on the movement of vehicles with electric motors, including hybrid cars, on the Crimean Bridge came into force on November 3, 2025.
