Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin made this statement during his working visit to China.

Russia-China relations are at their highest level, despite Western sanctions, he said during a meeting with Chinese Premier Li Qiang.

"Relations between Russia and China are at their highest level in the entire centuries-old history and continue to develop dynamically in all areas," the head of the Russian government noted.

On Monday, Mikhail Mishustin arrived in China for a two-day visit, where the 30th regular meeting of the heads of the governments of Russia and China is taking place.
