Government support for the automotive market in 2026 may be increased, TASS reports.

Minpromtorg announced that it will seek additional funding for the subsidized auto loan program. The corresponding budget amendments will be submitted by the department before the second reading of the budget law.

This decision is aimed at further stimulating consumer demand, which has already demonstrated its effectiveness. According to the results of the first half of 2025, more than 82,000 cars were sold under state programs with a total discount amount of almost 24.5 billion rubles.
