Affordable Credit Program for Renovation of Private Houses to Receive Additional Over 470 Million Rubles

The development of rural areas will be additionally funded by the Russian government. More than 470 million rubles will be allocated to subsidize a program of preferential loans for the improvement of private residential houses located in rural areas.

It is about approximately 21,500 preferential loans issued in 2020-2024 at a rate of up to 5%.

The source reminded that borrowed funds can be spent not only on the improvement of private houses, but also on connection to electricity, water, and gas supply, sewage, heating, as well as on repair of engineering systems and roofing.

The total amount of subsidization for this program of preferential loans in the current year will amount to more than 1.2 billion rubles.
