EU Bans Export of Toys with Motors and Puzzles to Russia

As part of the new, 19th package of anti-Russian sanctions, the EU has banned the export of toys and models with built-in engines to Russia. The corresponding ban is set out in a decision of the Council of the EU, published in the "Official Journal of the EU".

Also included in the list of prohibited goods are toy pedal cars, tricycles, scooters, doll strollers, dolls and other toys, as well as various models in reduced size, various puzzles.

The ban will come into force on October 24.
