
The Russian Federation and five CIS countries signed a Memorandum of Cooperation in the field of public finance management

Within the framework of the Moscow Financial Forum, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the financial authorities of the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States in the field of public finance management. This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation.
In addition to the Russian Federation, the Memorandum was signed by representatives of the financial authorities of five states: Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
The main purpose of the Memorandum is to strengthen multilateral cooperation and exchange experience between financial institutions. The parties plan to carry out budget reforms, study and implement best practices in the field of public finance management on budget planning and execution, and increase the efficiency of budget expenditures.
