The price of Brent crude oil futures went up on September 16. This is evidenced by data from the London stock exchange ICE Futures.

As of 8:10 a.m. Moscow time, Brent futures for November delivery rose 0.21% to $67.58 per barrel. During the previous session, the contract rose by 0.67% to 67.44 dollars per barrel.

At the same time, October futures for WTI crude oil on the New York Mercantile Exchange NYMEX rose 0.25% to $63.46 per barrel. A day earlier, WTI added 0.97% to the price, to $ 63.3 per barrel.

The rising cost of oil is related to the geopolitical situation. Earlier it was reported that Israel launched a large-scale offensive on Gaza.
