The average price of AI-92 at gas stations in Russia as of September 5 reached 60.1 rubles per liter, AI-95- 64.7 rubles per liter. Compared to the previous month, prices in both cases increased by 2.7%. Compared to the same period last year, the AI-92 increased in price by 10%, and the AI-95 by 9.5%.

Fuel prices at gas stations are rising most noticeably in regions with high consumption: in the center of the Russian Federation and the Moscow region.

The rise in retail gasoline prices is attributed to excise taxes and logistical costs. At the same time, experts believe that prices could rise even higher, they are being held back by active control from the Federal Antimonopoly Service.
