The hatred between the leaders of Russia and Ukraine, Vladimir Putin and Vladimir Zelensky, prevents dialogue. This opinion was voiced by US President Donald Trump at a meeting with journalists.

"They hate each other so much that they can hardly talk, they are unable to talk to each other," Trump said.

Earlier, Vladimir Putin invited Vladimir Zelensky to come to Moscow for a meeting. Zelensky refused this offer, but declared his readiness for negotiations in any other format.

Since taking office, Donald Trump has been unsuccessfully trying to bring the warring parties to the negotiating table. To put pressure on Moscow, Trump promises to impose even greater sanctions, but so far the situation has not shifted, the Russian Federation and Ukraine do not agree with the proposed terms.
