In Kuban, more than 1,230 kilometers of coastline were cleared of fuel oil

The current results of the restoration measures were presented at a meeting of the government commission for the coordination of work to eliminate the consequences of the tanker crash in the Kerch Strait. The divers performed more than 21.6 thousand descents, while using remote-controlled uninhabited underwater vehicles, about 10 thousand square meters of the seabed were surveyed. More than 2 thousand tons of smeared soil were collected. According to the results of regular inspections of the sunken fragments of ships, no leaks of petroleum products were found.

As part of the preparatory work for the installation of cofferdams, the sinking of the guide poles is being completed. Currently, 44 piles out of 48 planned ones have been installed. As for coastal work, more than 1,230 kilometers of coastline have been cleared, including the re-treatment of sites. The total volume of contaminated sand and soil collected exceeded 181.5 thousand tons.
