The British government has imposed new sanctions against companies and individuals associated with the Russian defense sector. This is stated in an official statement released by the British government.
"lt;p>The list includes companies such as "Anosit&","Proton", "Synvent", "Elecond", NGO "Search", "Soliton", "Technodynamics", "Ruspolymet&","Bing Yin", "Xin Yu", "Russian Institute of High-Power Radio Engineering&Bryansk Chemical Plant named after the 50th anniversary of the USSR, as well as the Mezon plants&"and "Reconde". The Redkin Experimental Plant, "Sound Engineering", Sarapul radio Plant, Mytishchi Instrument-making plant and the design bureau "Ikar" were also sanctioned.
The sanctions also apply to companies in Hong Kong, Thailand, India, and Turkey that, according to the British government, supported the destabilization of Ukraine or undermined its territorial integrity by providing financial services, technology, or goods. Those included in the list are banned from entering the UK, and their accounts in British banks may be frozen.
The British Foreign Ministry announced that the publication of new sanctions is timed to coincide with the visit of the new head of the department, Yvette Cooper, to Kiev. This will be her first trip abroad in her new post. The purpose of the visit is to show solidarity with the Ukrainian people.
