Krasnodar Airport has been open for flight services since September 11. This is reported by the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation.

According to the agency, an interdepartmental working group formed on the basis of the Federal Air Transport Agency worked out issues related to ensuring the safety of civil aircraft flights to the capital of Kuban. Also, the possibility of flying through this airport was confirmed by specialists of the State Corporation for Air Traffic Management subordinate to the agency.

Krasnodar Airport was closed along with other airports in Southern Russia at the end of February 2022. It was noted that throughout the period of time restrictions, the airport maintained a high degree of security and retained staff to resume operations. Let us remind you that in May 2024, Elista Airport received permission to resume operations, and Gelendzhik Airport received permission in July 2025.
