Gazprom International Limited (part of Gazprom) plans to divest its 50% stake in the Dutch company Wintershall Noordzee. This is reported by the publication «Vedomosti».

The Dutch Mazarine Energy is considered as a potential buyer for 50% of the shares.

However, according to the newspaper, the deal is being prevented by the arrest imposed by the court in The Hague on these assets of Gazprom as interim measures under the requirements of the DTEK group owned by the Ukrainian oligarch Rinat Akhmetov (his activities are recognized in the Russian Federation as extremist and prohibited) to Russia in the case of the nationalization of Krymenergo. In 2023, a court in The Hague ordered Russia to pay DTEK damages in the amount of $207.8 million.
