International treaties need to protect investments from sanctions. This was discussed at the session of the Eastern Economic Forum on freedom of entrepreneurship and the development of state mechanisms for protecting and supporting business with the participation of Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov.

- On my instructions, the inclusion of provisions on mutual protection of foreign investments from asset freezes due to the imposition of economic sanctions has been initiated in agreements with foreign countries, Krasnov said during a speech to the business community.
