In the autumn session, the State Duma plans to consider a bill concerning the maximum amount of overpayment for micro-loans. This was announced by Anatoly Aksakov, head of the Duma Committee on the financial market, during the Eastern Economic Forum, TASS reports.

- We plan to reduce the maximum amount of overpayment for micro-loans for up to a year from 130% to 100% of the debt amount, including interest, fines and penalties. We will introduce the rule of "one expensive micro loan in one hand", prohibiting the issuance of more than one loan per person with a full value of over 100%, Aksakov said.

A proposal to introduce a three-day pause before issuing a new microcredit after the repayment of the previous one will also be considered.
