Retail trade turnover in the Russian Federation increased by 2.1% in January-July 2025

Rosstat has published data on the state of the Russian economy for the first half of 2025. Retail trade turnover showed steady growth of 2.1%, and the volume of paid services to the public increased by 2.3%.

According to the Rosstat report on the socio-economic situation of the Russian Federation, retail trade turnover is 2.1% more than in the same period last year.

At the same time, the volume of paid services to the public reached 1.6 trillion rubles by the end of July 2025. The figure for the first seven months of the year is 2.3% higher than in January-July 2024.

It is noted that inflation for this period was 8.8%.
