A criminal case has been opened against the acting head of the quality control service of the military representative office of the Ministry of Defense, Dmitry Moroz. He is charged with improper performance of duties in the execution of the state defense order. This is reported by the Main Military Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.

According to investigators, in 2022-2023, Dmitry Moroz was charged with overseeing the execution of a multimillion-dollar government contract for the supply of communications products concluded between a government customer and the Electrosignal company.

However, Moroz was negligent in his duties, signing documents that contained false information about the cost and scope of work. As a result of the failure to comply with the terms of the contract, the Ministry of Defense suffered particularly large-scale damage.
