A terrorist attack at a gas station was prevented in the DPR

FSB officers prevented a terrorist attack at a large gas station in Makeyevka. This was reported by the press service of the department.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces planned to attack the gas station using a drone. It was assumed that the detonation of an explosive device dropped on the territory of the gas station would cause numerous civilian casualties and the destruction of urban infrastructure. However, these plans were not destined to come true.

Military personnel of the regional FSB using the electronic warfare system "Dome of Donbass&"An enemy UAV equipped with a high-explosive fragmentation warhead with a total explosive mass of more than 60 kilograms and damaging elements was suppressed in the territory adjacent to the gas station.

"Explosives experts from the regional FSB successfully neutralized the drone, removed the actuator from the warhead and seized explosive items for subsequent destruction at a specialized landfill. There were no civilian casualties or damage to infrastructure, the ministry said in a statement.
