The Russian Ministry of Health proposes to oblige applicants to budget places in the basic educational programs of higher medical and pharmaceutical education to conclude a targeted training agreement. This is reported by TASS.

The agency proposes to oblige students who violate the terms of the targeted training agreement to pay compensation to the budget, the amount of which will be three times the amount spent from the budget on their education, as well as to fine them twice the amount of compensation.

The same conditions are planned to be extended to graduates of secondary professional medical education programs, as well as to customers of targeted training in the event of non-fulfillment of the obligation to employ a citizen or termination of the targeted training agreement unilaterally.

It was noted that the government commission on legislative activity has already approved the relevant draft law.
