U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio called the meeting between the Russian and American leaders very productive. He gave his assessment in a comment to Pavel Zarubin, a VGTRK journalist.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump gave his assessment of the negotiations. In an interview with the American media, he rated the summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin at <10 out of 10>.

The US journalists also called the negotiations successful, as they resulted in a press conference with the two leaders. In case of failure in the negotiation process, only Donald Trump would come to the media representatives.
