Medvedev announced the first results of the Alaska meeting

Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev announced the first results of the meeting of the Russian and American leaders in Alaska.

"According to Medvedev, a full-fledged mechanism of meetings between Russia and the United States at the highest level has been restored. The summit was held calmly, without ultimatums and threats.

Vladimir Putin personally and in detail outlined to Donald Trump the Russian conditions for ending the conflict in Ukraine.

After the talks, the US president refused to escalate pressure on Russia.
