The talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump in Anchorage will discuss not only the situation around the Ukrainian conflict, but also the entire range of relations between the two countries. This was announced by Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund.
The presidents will meet on August 15 at 22:30 Moscow time at the Elmendorf-Richardson Air Force Base in Alaska.First, the leaders will have a private conversation, then they will be joined by assistants. After that, negotiations will be held with the participation of delegations, possibly with a working lunch. Then the presidents will separate for a while and meet again for a joint press conference.
Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, also expressed the opinion that the meeting between Putin and Trump would be productive.
