Trump talked about a telephone conversation with Lukashenko

US President Donald Trump spoke about a telephone conversation with President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.

"We had a wonderful conversation with dear Alexander Lukashenko. I thanked him for releasing 16 prisoners and discussed the possibility of releasing another 1,300 people," Trump shared.

The leaders of the two countries also touched upon other topics, including the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Alaska. The American leader expressed hope for an early meeting with Lukashenko.

At the same time, the American president has already gone to Alaska.
