Russia may become one of the alternative export markets for India

After the United States imposed increased duties on Indian goods, Russia may become one of the alternative export markets for India, TASS reports, citing a source in the Indian government.

Indian exporters are looking for new directions to market their products. They consider the domestic market, as well as the markets of South Asia, Africa, Central Asia and Russia.

"We need to strategically assess new markets," the source said.

He also stressed that exports of Indian goods to the United States are already declining.
