The joint venture found financial violations of 2.8 billion rubles in the work of the Ministry of Sports

The Chamber of Control and Accounts has verified the fulfillment of budget obligations by the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation and the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution the Sports Training Center for Russian National Teams in 2024.

The Ministry exceeded the revenue plan, transferring 5.4 billion rubles (148.8% of the plan). Expenses amounted to 63.4 billion rubles (99.7%). Accounts receivable decreased by 46.3%.

The state program for the Development of Physical Culture and Sports has been fulfilled by 99.6%, but one indicator has not been reached (the level of satisfaction of citizens is 61.5% against the 64% plan). Also, 14 results of the program were not fulfilled.

The Sports program is 99.8% fulfilled, but two results have not been achieved.

12.1 billion rubles have been allocated for the construction of sports facilities, 99.9% have been mastered, but 15 facilities have not been put into operation (25%).

At the same time, the Accounting Chamber revealed financial violations amounting to 2.8 billion rubles: an unjustified increase in subsidies by 297.5 million rubles, inefficient expenses for office furniture (overstatement by 4.1 million rubles), shortcomings in the distribution of subsidies to regions (for example, in the Krasnodar Territory, only two out of 32 Olympic reserve schools were supported).

The Chamber of Control and Accounts recommended that the Ministry of Sports set a target for subsidies corresponding to the number of sports organizations in the region.
