Switzerland has expanded its sanctions lists against Russia and lowered the ceiling on Russian oil prices.

Switzerland has imposed new sanctions against Russia, partially supporting the 18th package of EU restrictions. This is stated on the official website of the government.

The list includes 14 people, 41 companies and 105 vessels from third countries, while 26 firms now face stricter export restrictions.

These measures will take effect on August 13 at 00:00 Moscow time.

In addition, Switzerland lowered the ceiling on Russian oil prices to $47.6 per barrel.
