Starting from August 1, a ban on gasoline exports for manufacturers may be introduced. This was reported by sources close to the fuel market and shared information with TASS.
Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak had previously talked about a possible total ban on gasoline exports, including manufacturers, but stressed that this decision would require a thorough analysis of the current market situation.
Currently, restrictions on gasoline exports apply only to non-producers and are valid until the end of August. Agencies are analyzing the market to determine whether restrictions should be imposed on manufacturers. There is no final decision yet, but options for one or two months are being considered.
