According to the results of the second quarter of 2025, sales of satellite Internet services in Russia increased 2.4 times compared to the same period last year. This is reported by "Kommersant".

It is noted that the growing demand for satellite Internet is associated with unstable operation of the mobile Internet. Russians began to look for an alternative to mobile communications due to the increased outages amid drone attacks, and also due to the need for the population to communicate in hard-to-reach places.
