The Russian government plans to allocate 147 billion rubles for the development of infrastructure for mothers and children in the period up to 2030. These funds will be used to equip 142 perinatal centers across the country, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said during a visit to the Trans-Baikal Regional Perinatal Center.

In the current 2025, the budget provides for 26 billion rubles for these purposes, which will be used to equip 91 perinatal centers in 56 regions of Russia.

Special attention is being paid to the Trans-Baikal Territory: two perinatal centers are planned to be retrofitted in the region. 200 million rubles have already been allocated for these purposes, of which 137 million rubles have been allocated to the Trans-Baikal Regional Perinatal Center. The center will receive about 100 units of modern medical equipment.

Mikhail Mishustin emphasized that the protection of motherhood and childhood is a priority area of state policy. The Prime Minister noted the positive dynamics in reducing infant mortality and assured of further support for medical institutions.
