According to the results of the first half of 2025, Russia and Japan traded for $ 3.9 billion. The trade turnover decreased by 3.9% compared to the same period last year. This is reported by TASS with reference to statistics from the Japanese Ministry of Finance.

Since the beginning of the year, the total volume of imports from Russia has decreased by 8.6%, to $2.8 billion. At the same time, exports to Russia increased by 9.9%, to $1.1 billion.
