html The Board of Directors of the Central Bank at the next meeting on the key rate (July 25, 2025) may reduce it by 2 percentage points, to 18% per annum. This opinion was voiced by Anatoly Aksakov, head of the Duma Committee on the financial market.

— We see that the Central Bank has gradually begun to reduce the key rate. On the 25th, I am sure that the Central Bank will reduce the key rate, and I assume that by 2 percentage points at once," TASS quotes the deputy.

At the last meeting (June 6, 2025), the Central Bank lowered the key rate to 20%, after maintaining it at 21% per annum for a long time.
