Russia may waive visa-free travel with three more countries: Bahrain, Myanmar and Jordan. Nikita Kondratiev, Director of the Department of Multilateral Economic Cooperation and Special Projects at the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, reports TASS.

It is planned to cancel visas with these countries in 2025.

According to Kondratiev, the draft visa waiver agreement with Myanmar is almost finalized. The agreement is expected to be signed by the leaders of the two countries at the Eastern Economic Forum.

The draft visa waiver agreements with Jordan and Bahrain are "in a high state of development."

In the future, the Russian Federation may cancel visas with Saudi Arabia and Malaysia. Kondratiev stressed the fundamental importance of resolving the issue with these countries, as this will increase the tourist flow by two to three times.
