The Carpet plan was announced at four airports in the capital due to the threat of drones

Temporary flight restrictions were introduced at Moscow airports on the night of May 17 due to the threat of drones.The four key air harbors of the capital are Vnukovo, Domodedovo, and Zhukovsky&"Sheremetyevo" and "Sheremetyevo" have temporarily restricted the reception and dispatch of aircraft. These measures were taken as part of the Carpet plan in connection with the potential threat of the use of unmanned aerial vehicles.

The restrictions are preventive in nature and are aimed at ensuring flight safety. Currently, specialists are carrying out the necessary checks and extended monitoring of the airspace. Passengers are advised to check flight status information.
