Donald Trump believes that the conflict in the Gaza Strip is nearing an end

In an interview with Western media, US President Donald Trump expressed confidence in the imminent end of the military confrontation in the Gaza Strip.

The American leader said that "Gaza is ready or almost ready to give up." The release of a significant number of hostages has been confirmed. The Israeli forces have also moved on to the final stage of the operation.

In March, the Israeli army resumed military operations in the Gaza Strip, launching massive strikes on the enclave and interrupting the ceasefire regime established in January. The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu explained this by the refusal of the Palestinian Hamas movement from the proposals put forward at the talks by mediators and special envoy of the US President Stephen Witkoff, stating that the purpose of the operation in the sector is the release of all hostages.
