Hermes was allowed to buy out a share in the OBI construction hypermarket chain

The Federal Antimonopoly Service has granted permission to Hermes to acquire a stake in the OBI construction hypermarket chain. This is reported by the agency.

«Hermes» plans to acquire 65% of shares in the authorized capital of the companies &Do It Yourself», «Do It Yourself North-West» and &OBI is a Franchise Center. The FAS approved the transaction, considering that it would not lead to a restriction of competition in the market.

Earlier, in April 2025, Hermes had already received 24.99% in other OBI legal entities. The company owns 26 stores, and it ranks eighth among Russian specialty chains.
