In April of this year, exports from Russia to the United States decreased by 71.4 million dollars compared to March. This is evidenced by data published in the monthly report on foreign trade turnover of the U.S. Census Bureau.
According to information provided by the bureau, Russia imported $45.5 million worth of goods and services from the United States in April, which is 5 million less than in March. Thus, the US trade deficit with Russia amounted to 446.6 million dollars.
In the first four months of this year, Russia supplied $1.55 billion worth of goods and services to the United States. At the same time, U.S. exports to Russia totaled $180.3 million during this period, resulting in a deficit of $1.37 billion.
In February 2025, the volume of supplies of goods and services from Russia to the United States amounted to $ 339.6 million, and in January, $196.2 million. Exports of American goods and services to Russia increased from $34.9 million in January to $49.8 million in February, according to Washington.
Earlier, the US authorities reported that the annual exports of US goods to Russia in 2024 reached a record low for the entire time of calculating the indicators of bilateral trade and amounted to 528.3 million dollars, compared with 598.8 million dollars in 2023.
