Sales of tours in Russia for the coming summer decreased by 10-15% compared to 2024, the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) reported. The main reason was the temporary ban on the use of beaches in Anapa, established by Rospotrebnadzor. If we exclude the Krasnodar Region, sales growth would have been 14% year on year. By the beginning of summer, 46% of summer tours had been completed (60% in 2024).
The most popular summer destinations are Krasnodar Krai (39%), Crimea (17%), Caucasian Mineral Waters (13%), St. Petersburg (6%), Moscow region (4.3%) and others. Sochi is the leader in the Krasnodar Territory (60%), followed by Gelendzhik (19%), Anapa (12%) and Tuapse (6%). The Azov coast showed an increase in sales from 20% to 100%.
Demand for tours to Crimea increased by 40%, to Dagestan - by 67-80%, for river cruises - by 15-20%. Average receipts for overflight tours increased by 15-21% over the year.
