Mutual tourism between Russia and the CIS countries is 10 million people. This was stated by Maxim Reshetnikov, Minister of Economic Development.
The statement was made in Sochi at a meeting of the Council of Tourism of the CIS member States. According to the minister, the hospitality industry market of the CIS countries and Russia is actually a single one. According to him, every year five million Russians visit neighboring countries for tourist purposes, and the same number of people come in the opposite direction.
