The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) called the fuel situation in the retail market of the Russian Federation stable, and therefore believes that there is no need to ban the export of diesel fuel. This was reported by TASS with reference to the deputy head of the department, Vitaly Korolev.

- The situation in the retail fuel market is stable, prices are now changing below inflation. There are enough volumes to meet demand in the summer," he stressed.

In Russia, there is currently a restriction on gasoline exports for everyone except manufacturers. The restriction is valid until the end of summer. The Ministry of Energy proposes to extend the ban on gasoline exports for non-producers for September-October.
