Russia and Tanzania have agreed to resume direct flights

Russian Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov announced the need to launch direct flights between Russia and Tanzania as soon as possible. He announced this following a meeting of the intergovernmental commission in St. Petersburg.

The Air Service Agreement between the two countries was signed back in June last year, and now the parties are working on its early entry into force.

To ensure the loading of future flights, it is planned to organize a study tour to Tanzania in June for representatives of business, media and bloggers. The participation of the Tanzanian delegation in the Travel forum in Moscow is also being discussed, where a memorandum of cooperation in the field of tourism may be signed.
