The United States has resumed the supply of wild rice to Russia, RIA Novosti informs, citing data from the American statistical service.

In February, Russian companies bought rice from the United States for 154.7 thousand dollars. In March, the total volume of purchases exceeded $294,000. These figures have become record-breaking since 2015.

Russia has not bought wild rice from the United States since March 2022. One-time shipments of goods were in May 2024. Moscow has not been buying regular rice in the United States since April 2022.
