The launch of the construction of the automobile bridge over the Tumannaya River in Primorsky Krai took place with the participation of Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the DPRK Park Tae-son. The ceremony was held in a videoconference format.
The total length of the bridge will be 850 meters, of which 300 meters will be built by the Russian side. In addition, it is planned to build 2.4 kilometers of access roads from the Russian side.
The project is scheduled to be completed in 1.5 years by the summer of 2026. The agreement on the construction of the bridge was signed by the governments of the two countries in June 2024 during the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Pyongyang.
